Bactran
The Desert Dwarves of the eastern half of the Zin Zareth found their home in a great canyon in the land with tiny streams and waterfalls breaking through the stone and feeding down into a communal water supply for the city. The city is tiered into layers with a combination of minor staircases and two great counter spiral roads twirling down to the bottom. Bactran is the center of magical arts in the northern lands. It is also said to be the origin of the two-humped camels now found in the frigid east given as gifts from one great leader to another though few can be found in the northern areas now.
Government
The Mahas of Bactran have a much firmer grasp of government than those of Draman. While the Dramani Mahas have their areas of influence around their estates, the Mahas of Bactran have solid areas of dominion. Each Maha has power within one of the 14 districts.
Districts
Bactran is divided into 14 regions each ruled by a single Maha: the eleven tiers up the side of the cliff face and the three districts atop the plateau. The Nehir River splits the plateau into a northern district, southern district, and an island caused by a split in the river before tumbling into the waterfall. The northern distirct is known as the Bahuk Plaza and is home to the great hospital, the Jatri'nin Hastanesi. The southern district called the Bahçe Bedal after it's ruler Maha Bedal. The Central district is the Saquris Cross and is come to the combination gymnasium and bathhouse the Spor Solanu and the casino The Lady's Charity.

Eyes of Chantea: magically crafted tunnels under the two branches of the Nehir River allowing foot traffic between the three plateau districts of the city. Water merely rolls up high over road with bystanders able to dip their arms into the river from below.
