Draman
The Desert Dwarves of the western half of Zin Zareth have congregated into a rolling metropolis centered on a oasis of springs. Thick walled, mudbrick buildings dominate the winding layout. Among the advances that this robust group have developed is Dramani steel. Multiple layers of diverse steels make up this medium and it is said to be capable of such fine creations that they can rival those of adamantium, mithral, and cold iron.
Government
The Maha's of the Draman practically serve as the government of the city. While there are institutions for judges and the like, the agreed upon terms of inter-Maha politics forms the basis of practical living in the city. While incomplete, listed below are a selections of the Mahas of Draman. Despite their power, the influence of Draman's Mahas is not delineated into specific wards or parts of wards. Most split their efforts between the areas around their estates and the areas related to their interests however disparate they may be. Draman hovers between ten and fifteen Mahas at any given time simply based on infrastructure. The city is packed and up until now only eleven estates are maintained for Maha use. Unless a person of wealth wishes to fund the clearing of city blocks and the social obstacles, they would have to expand outside the city. Sometimes, the rank of Maha is granted to an individual of status who already has a home befitting of a Maha, such as the high priest of the Everbright Mosque.

Infrastructure
The city is built around four minaret towers used by the city for broadcasting of information. While basic street criers can be hired for locale information dispersal, the minarets are used for public endeavors such as warning of sand storms or the timing of holidays and celebrations.
Districts
Draman is separated into six main wards, also known as a "koğuş" (pronounced similar to "Koh-ush"). This Sis Manallesi and the outer slums then provide further context to the rest of the city structure. The wards blend from one to the next without hard lines in most cases. The wards are influenced by which Maha's have their estates there as well as the primary industries of the area.
Koğuş Bakkal ("Grocer Ward")
This central ward of the city is dominated by markets, tradesfolk, and tourism to the city. The main road into Draman is designed to draw travelers deep into this ward where everything from food to clothing, weapons to animals can be purchased. The Koğuş Bakkal is the most affluent ward available to the the commonfolk of Draman.
Koğuş Demir ("Iron Ward")
The second of the central wards of Draman, this district is harder to get to. Many of the iron goods sold in the Koğuş Bakkal to tourist were made here. Along with the smithies, the the Koğuş Demir also holds it's own shops and galleries of goods for buyers looking to go back to the source, custom order, or seeking items in bulk. The Koğuş Demir is the center of the city's export trade and vital to the flow of money into the city.
Koğuş Duman ("Smoke Ward")
This ward of the city is the true backbone of the Koğuş Demir. This ward is downwind from the Iron Ward and therefore gets all of it's smoke. In addition to being the lower housings of many of the workers of the Iron Ward, it also contains the more acrid factories of the smelters and lower ironworks. The Koğuş Duman is the worst ward of the middle class but it's work opportunities continue to draw people from the lower districts of the city to it. They trade their health and lives for opportunity.
Koğuş Çamur ("Mud Ward")
The better of the two lower class wards, the Mud Ward get's it's name from the fact that, if nothing else, the district has ready access to water from the city's wells. The streets and homes remain cramped with most tradesfolk attempting to maintain sustenance with their neighbors alone.
Koğuş Kir ("Dirt Ward")
The lesser of the two lower class wards, the Dirt Ward provides the fewest opportunities in the city and the worst of living conditions. The only thing it has going for it is that it is at least inside the walls of the city and a chance a Maha decides to do something for the ward. Other than that, the people of the Dirt Ward find themselves permeating the rest of the city before returning to their hovels.
Koğuş Kaka ("Fecal Ward")
Despite it's name, this ward is by far not the worst for the middle classes of the city. This elevated ward exists around the northern gates of the city. Primarily used by the herders and stables of the city, the washoff of this ward is responsible for the gardens of the nearby Maha estates.
Sis Manallesi ("Neighborhood of Mist")
Named for the extravagant perfumes and unrestrained use of water, the Sis Manellesi is technically part of the Koğuş Bakkal; few would hold it to its officially delineation. The Sis Manallesi is single roofed structure combining aspects of a great mall and a neighborhood. The ornate structure is built around four different Maha estates boxed in by the most luxurious shops and restaurants of the city. The four estates each open up into an interior town square of the upper class.
Outer Slums
The walls of Draman do not perfectly contain the city. Spilling outside the city and down the road into town are beggar camps, estranged citizens, and debtors seeking to stay out of the eyes of those they owe money to.
Points of interest
Part of certain Maha public relation endeavors is the provision of entertainment to the public. With this, there are two prominent areas of enterprise: the chariot and polo fields and the Kan Zaferi.
The sporting fields are in the northern Koğuş Çamur but close enough to the Koğuş Kaka for a parade of the athletes and steeds before every major event.
The Kan Zaferi supports an alternate form of entertainment. Translating to "Glory of Blood", the fighting arena is housed in the Koğuş Kir to be furthest from polite society. Despite that, the Kan Zaferi is on the main throughfare through the district allow easy access to anyone wishing to attend.
