Kaveto Mountain
Kaveto is the tallest mountain on Malplenan. But calling it just a mountain does it a great diservice. Kaveto is also the center of the many cultures in our world. The Local Folklore in all of Malplenan (especially the Southern Myths) have a large focus on Kaveot due to how prominent it is in the world and in everyone's minds.
The mystery of Kaveto also extends beyond the legends and into the real world. There are a number of puzzles about Kaveto that we are just as clueless about today as we were a hundred years ago. These are the climate, the Zapryesh effect and Imyanat.
There is no snow on Kaveto while all of the surrounding mountains have glaciers year round at their peaks. Kaveto also has a lush forest all of the way to the peak, even past the tree line. Trees and other plant life should not be able to grow that high, but they do on Kaveto. Kaveto is also the host to a large variety of biomes across different parts of its slopes. Some of them are not found anywhere else on Malplenan.
