Chapter 1.3 - The Mountain
General Summary
Nashman is looking much less worried than the night before, but its hard to see if he's put on his teacher's face or not.
A bunch of good questions about Kaveto - listen to recording if need to go back.
Thoughts on Imyanat being more prominent / accented in the world building
RACE UP THE MOUNTAIN BITCHES
Turned into a walk when the effect just didn't hit as hard as they thought.
Got to a river, Sakewew started hearing whispers with a word that he couldn't quite understand. Tried to leave, but wound up back with them.
Found the Zai bones, refused to race and ran away, Zai took that to mean they were racing. Taivan stopped to let others catch up, so came slightly behind. Jihi climbed the cliff and got up there first, but not quite at the cave, but also tripped the boots in an unsportsmanlike conduct way. Boots went to Taiven, despite losing since they were clearly faster, but stopped for their friend. Taivan refused the boots, so Vilhelm picked them up, learned the name Zai and +5 move speed.
Vill saw they were way way up the mountain, farther than they had any right to be.
Everyone has +2 Wisdom for the rest of this map due to "unknown" reasons (I mean, c'mon, the mountain is magical).
They entered the cave, and started the conversation, but will restart it since we had to break for the day pretty soon in.
Conversation with the stone:
Learn a bunch. Listen back if you need to know
Warm up problem, some fun
Real problem
Jihi, coming from the monastery, it creates a very insiders club, but you need more openness for fairness
Vill, keep the party going / people ignorant, deal with it as the leader. But he gets convinced to open up.
Taivan, better to live than to be dead, stay protecting against the evil.
Sto'lu', what if that live isn't worth living, eg, can save via lobotomized, but then they'd be lobotomized
Sakowew, true self is a bullshit concept, their own existence prevents them from reaching it
Sasha, as long as they are happy as they are
Leave the cave
Check in on the pressure in their mind
Think about internal clock, 45-55mins
Talk about returning down the cave
Sneaking by the bear
Sto'lu' just chills down the river. Its a curiosity
Vill, fails the sneak, isn't super concerned, but concerned for his friends, relaxing sigh as he goes by
Sasha, do not like it at all, get get get get the fuck out
Jihi, reminds him of home, still on the calmer side, nostalgia
Sakowew, not as fully chill, but know they have a good plan
Taivan, Quiet, a leaf on the wind, quiet
Sto'lu' embraces the memories
First time they pickpocketed sometime
Utter panic, until they got away with it
Then were super chill
Sasha embraces the memories
When their home city in the Ardada Empire was under seige
Couldn't find food for large periods of time
Not relaxed at all
Would've helped at least mentally a lot
Had a chill session
Vill got his bong
