Jani Beg came to power following a civil war due to a tense split in the election following his father's death. He lost a close vote but rather than concede gathered his forces and beat his younger, but more popular brother decisively in battle.
Education
Jani Beg was educated in the nation's best military academy. He attended the school from 12 until 20 and became an expert in field battles and organizing seiges.

Won the 4th Goloin Gazar War of Succession against his brother Tini Beg and his backers.
