The Darklands

Named for its unknown nature, the continent has become the target of colonists, adventurers, refugees, and entrepreneurs for the last century. Not much is known about it but more and more progress has been made in the direction of exploration. Very people explorers have made it far into the wilderness before they were killed or turned back due to encountering strange creatures and threats.

Geography

So far the exploration of the Darklands has been minimal, but there has been an abundance of forest and mountain resources.

Localized Phenomena

The sea just off the north coasts of Tenebrosia. now known as the Frozen Sea , hosts strangly frigid temperatures all year long.

Fauna & Flora

Flora

The plans on the continent are mostly the same found back on Brakasia , but with the exception of the herbs and flowers. Their exists several varieties that have proved to be incredibly good for treating certain ailments and injuries. one particular mushroom has also become a popular hallucinogenic among the upper class citizens

History

Not much is currently known about the continent. The only discoveries have been an ancient ruin next to the volcanic mountain range. This is still under research by the Tarosian noble family (see Barclay Tarosion ).
