Felsen Plains
Geography
The Felsen Planes are largely flat with more hills as you move north towards the lake and forest. Scattered sparsely across the plains are monolithic carvings with ancient runes.
Fauna & Flora
There are a couple of animals that call the plains their home.
- The Balakav are a 4-legged woolie creature used as beast of burden by the resident Orcs . Their red wool is the main material used to make Orcish clothing.
- The Felsen Sheep are a domesticated breed of animal that the Orcs use for both food and shelter as their wool is an incredibly dense material, ideal for making protective fabric.
- Draken are a ferocious stalking predator that prefers to hunt in tall grass areas. Their cat-like body is fit for running at great speeds over short distances. They are rare to see as they are ambush predators, but it is considered an omen of good luck on a hunt.
Natural Resources
Despite not being obvious, there are vast amounts of Dragon Ore underneath the plains. There are a couple well hidden entrances to the natural caves. Orcs spend time as needed mining the material, but since they only do so when needed. Enough is mined to be kept on hand or traded to the other tribes.
