Lord Gar

Nearly six and a half feet tall, adorned in jet black armor, and brandishing a wicked sword of flames, Lord Gar was a nightmarish field general in the service of Dagrazt. He helped march the forces of Dagrazt east during the War Against the Darkness and overtook the city of Bariadan. From there, Lord Gar pushed north and east, threatening The Great Forest and the Kingdom of Xenphenia.
Lord Gar and his armies were eventually repelled during the Battle of the Rauros Bridge and he was forced to retreat back to Bariadan. While housed underneath the Grey Spire of Bariadan, Lord Gar fell from Dagrazt's favor and grew weaker and weaker, eventually meeting his end at the hands of a group of heroes. His demise, and the subsequent liberation of Bariadan are widely regarded as the last major event in the War Against the Darkness.
Much of Lord Gar's history remains shrouded in mystery. It is rumored that he was once a powerful paladin devoted to Mal-Torak who fell from grace and was reborn as a Death Knight.
