The Imperial City
The seat of the mighty Corithan Empire is the among the largest and wealthiest cities in the world where peoples from all corners of Magna Testudo coexist to live, trade, and work. The millennium old city is said to be eternal and is known of in places the average citizen doesn't even know exists.

The city's gold piece limit is 100,000 gp. Anything, whether it be mundane or magical, having a price under that limit is most likely available for purchase. The total amount of available coinage, or the total value of goods, items, and real estate is 847,495,000 gp.
History
Vercentrix I founded The Imperial City in in what is now determined by historians to be the year 1 in Imperial Rule. Vercentrix intended his new city to be the seat of power for his kingdom and began its construction in the lowlands along the banks of the Corithan River. Along with the senate and a temple devoted to every god in the pantheon; the Corithan Ruler planned a grand palace from where to oversee his kingdom, but never resided in it before he died fighting rebellious cities in the North of the Peninsula. Amilius I would be the first man granted the title of Emperor and first to reside in the Imperial City ten years after it was founded and nearly 18 months after the death of Vercentrix.
For nearly 2,000 years the Imperial City has been at the heart of major events on Magna Testudo and always at the forefront of the biggest events within the empire.
