Myths Surrounding them:
Life Cycle: The Air Phoenix begins its life inside of an egg that is light enough to sit upon a cloud, usually a leftover of the storm that marked the end of its previous life cycle. Once the egg is large enough it will slip through the cloud causing the phoenix to emerge from the egg and fly off into the clouds. It is believed that only a rare number of the ancient and magical creatures still exist. As the Phoenix will go through its life cycle it will utilize its power of whipping up storms to provide food for itself as fish, birds and other animals are caught in the winds making an easy buffet of food for the growing animals. As the phoenix reaches the end stage of its life cycle massive storms will begin to form around as the phoenix needs to gather as much nutrients as possible to revert back into its egg form and restart its life cycle. This last ditch storm is a perfect way of gathering the nutrients needed.

Shortly after the completion of the tower the elf was grace by the presence of a dying phoenix whos storm ripped the tower into pieces sending the elf to his ultimate demise at the mouth of the bird.

The birds are a legendary and mysterious creature that the Ukari respect greatly not only for its destructive power but for the good it does to the land by spreading seeds and sowing the life around the world.
