The Animals for the RedWind Forest.
The reason the area has not been colonized.
Hunting: hunting excursions will happen in the forest but only during certain months as the wind can be quite dangerous during the stormy season and has the ability to seriously hurt and or kill any individuals caught in the wind's destructive path.

Type of plants Much of the forest is covered in a thick and viny plant that has it roots and vine covering most of the ground and much of the trees. With its extremely strong and thick vines that span hundreds of trees the vine work is a plant that has adapted quite well to the windy environment.
The weather of the region: The wind in the region is extremely harsh at most times of the year and is easily capable to knocking over creatures and causing serious harm if not prepared for the intense power.
how has the weather affected the plant and animal life: During the windy seasons many of the forest residents that are not able to withstand the weather will migrate to calmer areas of Zurrican in the hopes of escaping some of the inclement weather. Few of the animals though have adapted to stay in the forest year round.
Some adaptations that would help:
Long claws to stick in trees and make it impossible for the wind to sweep you away. some animals have gotten extremely good at burrowing underground to escape the dangers of the winds above. some animals are covered in a sticky slime and then tangle themselves under the large sprawled out vines that connect the forest.

What types of dangers does the biome present: Extreme wind that can harm an individual by being hit with an airborne object. Being strong enough to pick an individual off the ground and send them off sky high eventually being dropped and either hurt from the fall or killed.
