Flint

A type of Rock used since antiquity for it's sharp edges when knapped.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Flint has an afinity with the Fire Rune, and when struck by some forms of Metal.

Flint, as a material for forming blades, has mostly fallen out of favour as it has been replaced by the much more convenient Metal blades. It is now used in some locations as road-surface and in others as a building material.

Flint does not form Crystals and so is not an easy form of magical matrix.
