History

The Beast Rune came to Maerl from Rhad-Maerl, although there are many other contenders for the god that created beasts - almost as many as there are Elements!

Depiction

The Beast Rune is usually depicted as an inverted triangle with a "Y" in the centre, touching each corner.

Associations

The Beast Rune is associated with all the beasts of Maerl. It is also associated with many materials in common use by the various peoples of the world.

The first beast was Haldr.
