Maerl
Maerl is a world, but it is not a planet; It is finite and unbounded but not spherical. From any point you can travel in any direction across it's surface and return to the same point - If you lived long enough. In the same way that on a planet you can travel West until you pass the same spot again and again, on Maerl it is said that you can do the same in any direction!
The Sun traverses the heavens above Maerl daily, moving in its chariot from East to West, while the Moons travel otherwise. The Blue-Moon falls, each dusk, from the highest point of the sky - only to vanish into the North each dawn. The Red Moon becomes visible each night as the Sun sets - slightly changed in shape from New to Full - always in the same place in the sky - no matter where one stands.
