The Crimson Dominion is an organization formed after Ra'koom. It was created by the Ahura, however it has expanded members to a large number of planets and species.

History

After many of the Ahura believed that Ra'koom was an act of divine action by the gods in order to purge unwanted creations from the universe.
The Crimson Dominion was originally formed to locate and purge Void-Touched species and planets to prevent spread.
Gradually their goals changed to get rid of species and planets deemed unfit to the organization, with the idea being that if they keep the galaxy pruned of unwanted creatures, then there won't be another event like Ra'koom to occur again.

Marks

The Crimson Dominion brings judgement in the way of categorising planets by marks, which decides their fate.

• Grey Mark - Left alone by the dominion.
• Green Mark - Given an invitation to join the dominion.
• Yellow Mark - Future inspection needed.
• Red Mark - Use of The Crimson Light to eradicate the offending species off said planet.
• Black Mark - Use of the Crimson Light to go fully scorched earth, destroying all life on said planet.

The judgement process is very lengthy and decided by a vote, however the final say is down to The Crimson Judge.

Criticism

The Crimson Dominion has been been given criticisms by other intergalactic organizations, due to the finality of their judgement and subsequent use of the Crimson light.
Groups like The Conservationists believe that black marking a species can lead to the complete loss of culture and technology. It has also been criticised on whether or not the criteria that the Crimson Dominion uses is fair.
However, due to the size of the Crimson Dominion, and the fear that one's own planet may be put on the line, there hasn't been much done to change the Dominion's ways.
