Nana

Nana is a Matrica woman (both racially and ethnically). Little is known about her, but every member of the Matrica clans seem to know of her. If Nana is her real name or a title, nobody is sure, though nobody has known her to go by any other name.

She is of indeterminate age, though looks to be very wizened and aged. It's likely she has undergone some means of life extention, as even elderly Matrica claim she has looked that way since they were children. People have asked her what she did to achieve her advanced age, to which her most common response is "A diet of tea and toffee."

Nana's clan affiliations are also unknown, though she is reported to have a wide variety of clan tattoos all over her body. Those who have seen them have mentioned nearly every existing Matrica clan, plus a few designs that they can't place. It is unknown if these are mere decoration, or the marks of long-defunct clans.
