Trofimov Fort
The fort is a wooden tower, manse, and fenced settlement belonging to Dem'ian Trofimov. It is located about 6 versts upstream from the village of Lazarevo, and close to a ford in the Vydra River, which makes it a strategic position. The fort seems well taken care of, and construction was proceeding actively last time it was seen.
Lying above the Vydra River, the Fort benefits from its location along an important trade artery, though it seems to derive additional benefits from its proprietor's smuggling activities.
