Ruslan Anatolievich and his family
Ruslan is the neighbor of Boris Rodionovich and Galina Gostoslavovna in Yarozersk. He is also the father of Filipok, a boy who was lost in the woods for many months, but recently returned to the village. Like other villagers, Ruslan is friendly, and is willing to let them meet his son, though he is also protective, and wants to give the boy alone time in the barn when he becomes overwhelmed by visitors.
The following day, after killing a giant and discovering his cave outside the village, the Yokels returned to Ruslan and Galina's for dinner. They hoped to find Filipok, but his father said the boy was playing in the shed. Sasha sneaked in there, and did not find him, though she did find an animated wooden mannequin that hurt her.
During the dinner, Sasha also flirted with Ruslan, who became infatuated with her.
Ruslan and the family are in Yarozersk.
