This might be the oldest temple on the entire continent. Some of its deeper layers date back far into the Age of Arcanum, some might have even existed during the Dawnera. This temple was destroyed countless of times, but mortals never stopped rebuilding a new, even greater temple on top of the old ruins.
The Temple of the Skies is an ancient temple in Oistinis. It's dedicated to the Siblings of the Sky, Yana - the Lady of Light, Tria - the Source of Magic, and Izral - the Force of Change. For countless centuries, followers of these three gods came here to show their worship and respect. It's a place of pilgrimage and enlightenment, and one of the few holy sites not dedicated to Mialdir in the Meisian Empire.

Architecture

The current iteration of the temple is a huge triangular cathedral in the center of the city. It's often described as a building trying to reach the skies. Each corner of the cathedral has a unique tower, each representing one of the siblings.   The southern tower is dedicated to Yana. A big glowing orb of light sits at the very top, representing the sun. Intricate carvings of fire and light rays are edged into the walls, making this the most beautiful of the three towers.   The north-western tower is dedicated to Tria. It's inscribed with countless ancient magical glyphs and runes, most of them forgotten in time. During the night, similar to Tria's Light in Okodranous, countless gems embedded into the stone work glow, evoking the image of the night sky on the tower.   The north-eastern tower was created to worship Izral. Compared to the other two towers, it's rather simplistic, made out of smooth stone with only a handful of ornaments. When only Izrak the red moon stands in the sky, the whole tower starts to glow red, and change - the stone freely flowing between different shapes.   Inside the temple, elaborate carvings and paintings, as well as stained glass windows depicting scenes of creation, and other stories surrounding the three gods. In the center of the cathedral stands an intricate statue, depicting the creation of the world - a floating planet, with three figures leaning above it, protecting and guiding it.

History

The History of the temple spans epochs, with some of its foundations reaching back over 10,000 years into the early Age of Arcanum, maybe even the late Dawnera. It was created back then as a small shrine to the three siblings, and the slowly over time the city of Oistinis grew around it.   Much of the ancient history surrounding the temple has been lost, but there are countless stories of the siblings visiting their followers in this temple during the Age of Arcanum. Many believe that a part of their divine essence is built into the very foundations of the temple.   The temple itself got damaged or even destroyed countless times over the course of history. Every time the followers rebuild the temple, bigger and more magnificent then before. The current iteration of the temple was build after the War of Fate destroyed the entire city.   Scholars and historians come to Oistinis, just to get a chance to study the ancient ruins beneath the temple. They hold stories and reports of times long gone past and could hold the secrets that unlock history.

I think the tower dedicated to Izral is my favourite. I love the idea that it changes when the red moon rises.

I like the idea of each of the towers being dedicated to one of the deities worshipped in the temple

The triangle is my favorite shape, so I'm a sucker for buildings like this. I also love that each tower has its own personality. Well done!
