The Mumtortoise adapted to loud sounds over a long period of time. The surviving Mumtortoise is born with ear muffs and a stitched mouth. The mumtortoise absorbs nutrients from the water. The Mumtortoise swims well and quickly to escape a predator.

Ecology and Habitats

The Mumtortoise is a rare amphibious reptile that must be separated from other repitles and fish. Hamlet residents erect sound proof coops to house their Mumtortoises.

Mumtortoise farmers grind up their food, so it can be better absorbed. The Mumtortoise grows fat. The farmer sells them to the town butcher. Behaviour
