Stairs of the Moon
The Stairs of the Moon is an abandoned temple of Desna located in Shudderwood. The Desnan priests at the temple used the top of the tower as an observatory, and pieces of the Dusk Moth were incorporated into the standing stones atop it. After the temple was abandoned, the Werewolves of the Shudderwood began to use the observatory as their council rock. From its precipice, the Packlord’s howl can be heard throughout the forest, and perched upon it, he can summon all the other wolves of the Shudderwood to council. Subsequently, the observatory became known as Highthrone, and the werewolves consider it their most sacred spot.
It was here that the Fellowship became embroiled with control of the werewolf packs. Also, something initiated the release of the Dusk Moth, which triggered visions in those present. The Dusk Moth was consumed by Nyrrk, causing Kyrrn's first transformation.
