Simokau

Simokau is a large city on Visser. It is a cultural capital, and is home to much of the planet's genetic modification scene. Many residents of Simokau consistently push the boundaries between human and non-human.  It was founded shortly after Tauriyanunan, and has been home to the Vissite transhumanist movement since the beginning.
While the genemodder subculture was initially suppressed by the People's Republic of Lordania, after they realised the potential to create genemod soldiers, they quickly poured funding into the city. Despite Unitarian efforts, much of the funding was appropriated by the planet's scientists, who channeled the research into recreational genetic modification and cosmetic augments as a protest against the Unitarian's fascist beliefs.
