A fight broke out between a group of Kobolds and members of the Redbands gang, but it was the civilians caught in the middle who came out the victor.

Hex Trynn was working the register at Mickey Feasts, serving the wurm Snell, the plasmoid Mak Fungible, and the tortle former downtown weatherman Gle'n "Hurricane" Schwartz. But next in line came a group of kobolds, including one with green scales. They would have been originally from Hornswoggle, the green greatwyrm's city, where Hex grew up.   When the kobolds went upstairs the vibe in the fast-food restaurant shifted. The others felt powerful gazes emanating from a table of dangerous-looking men wearing red armbands. To them the green kobold was significant. They whipped out a scroll of sleep, magically knocking out most of the kobolds, and attempted to kidnap the green one. If only the scroll had knocked out the other individuals just there to enjoy their meal.   Snell, Mak, Gle'n, and even Hex got involved. What could have been a quick grab turned into a violent rumble. It drew the attention of Kai Miyagi, a hare monk new to town, and Khev, a fey hobgoblin recently traded to the Antiquity echo ball team; The Scorpions. Kobolds and Redbands died. Rhys Milligan, a bugbear Redband, escaped with the green kobold. When the hunters finally arrived, they labeled the whole mess "gang violence" and let everyone go.   Snell grabbed a Redband who implied their goal, their boss efreeti's goal, was to join the system of dragons controlling cities... somehow.   The boys decided to grab drinks.
