He has a justifiable dislike for his next-door business neighbors, The Bog Bottom Boys, because they killed his friends during a rumble. However since then the Bog Bottom Boys have protected friends and neighbors, as well as paid into the resurrection fund for his dead friends. He's cooling on them.
