Lynn and Harold started dating in 1982, shortly after Harold had graduated from high school. Lynn was working at the grocery store within walking distance from Harold's house and they struck up a friendship over a bag of apples one afternoon. They clicked quickly and were married by the end of 1982 with a baby on the way by 1983.

Lynn was 28 when Ebon was born. They've been great friends, especially since Ebon moved out in her early twenties; they get along a lot better when they aren't under the same roof.
