Though tough and strict with his guild members, they highly respect him and follow through on his orders with absolute precision. Tophus is a powerful warrior who trained in the city of Bloodmount for much of his youth. Still rather young, he is well known as the leader of Diabolical Dissension, the second highest ranked guild in the world. He is known to spend much of his time, when not doing guild related things, with Oasis of Strands of Destiny. The pair have a long history together and can be found working together on official and unofficial business. Tophus is also friends with Fate of Crimson Shadow as well as tolerably acquainted with Zero of the same guild. Toward his friends, Tophus is known to be kind and thoughtful, but rules over his guild with an iron fist. And anyone dumb enough to be an enemy quickly meets the blade of his great axe. He is more outgoing and laid back than Oasis and makes friends easily. His guild mates were each chosen by him. They had to meet or exceed his ideals and expectations, along with fight him in battle. Winning was not required, just showing them who they truly were through fighting.
Mental characteristics
Tophus was trouble from the day he was born. He was sent off to the Order of ??? ??? at a very young age due to his delinquency. When he was fifteen he left and joined a group of ruffians. After being left for dead after an attack, he was found by a caravan and nurses back to health. He started his guild shortly after.

Tophus and Oasis have known one another since early childhood. They got along well enough but when they were sent on different paths they lost touch. It wasn't until both had abandoned their Orders and formed their new guilds that the two childhood acquaintances were reunited and forged a friendship.
