KYKE BINS - New year

KARORBI cultures consider the new year to start the morning after the longest day of the year. At dawn, the high priest of the sun god KRAMGE lights a ceremonial funeral pyre to mark the start of the moon goddess AHTA's dominion of the year. At sunset, the priestesses of AHTA lead the community in songs until the moon is high in the sky. After the songs are done a large feast is provided by the local nobility, who compete amongst themselves to show who can afford to be the most generous before the gods.
