The Great Wall

The Great Wall (Wànlǐ Chángchéng) is a large wall, measuring 2 li (approximately 1 km) high, and (innumerable) li in length, that was built by the government of Zhongguo with the help of the Jiaopai, in an effort to wall the Forbidden Zone out of Zhongguo.   It was specifically built larger than the Forbidden Zone was at the time (580 li), with a radius from Moliliexia - The Rift of 650 li, so as to ensure that it accounted for the increasing radius of the Forbidden Zone. According to calculations from Baoyu Sect's scholars, it should not need to be re-built for a millennium, perhaps more, as the expansion of the Forbidden Zone appears to be slowing down.   The Wall was built of marble (Huashi) mixed with Daliyan, in order to ensure that it would prevent any of the dangerous creatures (animals or ambulatory plants) from the Forbidden Zone from gaining access to the civilized lands of Zhongguo.   The Wall spans the entirety of the western edge of Zhongguo, as well as the south of the northwesternmost part of the country. The only opening is in the ancient city of Chengdu, which is an arched entrance that stands 1 Zhang tall, made of Yuenanqinggang wood; only cultivators of great strength can pass through it.
