Three-Hook Point

Shrouded in clouds and superstition.

"Beware Three-Hook Point, there the clouds come over the side, like water, and when they are thick and the sky is shaded, you could step right off the edge without seeing it. And that isn't even all. There are fish with more teeth than wheat in a wheat field, they're faster than a race horse, and deadlier than a flying arrow. They'll eat the skin off your arms, and bite the nose off your face. That's how I lost mine."

History

The earliest knowledge of this point comes from folktales that speak of fishermen going missing to strange creatures. Sometimes they tell of scary fish with hundreds of teeth and other of beautiful fae and their enchanting properties. This location has not been the focal point of any historical events but has hosted a unique sporting event where fishermen spear skyfish that come over the land.

Features

The point gets its name from three rocks that stick out of the ground, all of which are shaped like hooks. The ground is bare stone, any soil blown away by the winds or run off by the rains. A few intrepid plants manage to grow in the cracks in the stone and these plants are what the skyfish eat. This is unusual because it is rare for any skyfish to fly over an island.   While many places on Breharan experience fog and other weather events caused by the clouds, here they lap up onto the shore like water in a lake. Under normal conditions this looks quite beautiful but when storms darken the sky, it becomes very eerie.
