Librarth
The world of Librarth is one of magic, competition, adventure and curiosities. With climates ranging from tundra and ice caps to triple canopy jungle and desserts, the wildlife and people of Librarth are as wild and diverse as the climates. The landmasses consist of three continents, two in the northern hemisphere and one in the south. Surrounding the equator is a chain of islands called The Belt.
Geography
Librarth is slightly smaller than the planet Earth with three moons and a ring. The planet has three continents, Wudan and Uzesh in the north and Second in the south. Surrounding the entirety of the equator is a chain of island of variable sizes named the belt Moons The three moons of Librarth are Cilurn, Voo, and Qelt. Qelt is the largest of the three and appears as a large, smooth, purple orb in the nighttime sky. Durning a new moon phase, Qelt is easily visible during the day but is much paler in color. Voo and Cilurn are of a similar size and color, appearing silver in the night sky, but Voo has a small ring the distinguishes the two. During the Age of Arcana, many of the cultures of Wudan had built religious structures around the three moons, with Qelt as the mother and Voo/Qelt as twin sisters Continents Wudan Wudan, also known as Tsöliin Gazar, is a continent that is located in the southern portion of the Northern hemisphere of Librarth. If viewed from above, Wudan appears as an inverted teardrop, with a sharp point on the south of the continent that is a short sail away from the islands of The Belt. A sparsely populated continent, the majority of the population live within three city states on the southern point of Wudan, with nomadic tribes controlling the majority of the continent. Much of the interior of Wudan is a subtropical dessert, with various paths and trails that cross the expanse. On the Northwestern coast a mountain range, the Lancer Range, pushes right up to the sea. The range sweeps to the Southeast, providing a barrier to the Northeastern Coast. Size: approximately 5 million square miles Population: 3.5 million, with about 3 million located in the southern urban areas. The nomadic tribes come from gobliniod stock, while the natives who founded the cities are Tieflings. With a weekly airship flight from Tinkerire in Secand, there are a sizable minority of gnomes, halflings, and humans within the cities.
