The Belt

Encircling the entire midsection of Librarth, The Belt is an archipelago that consists of islands of various sizes that lie within The Glistening Expanse. From sandbars to those hundreds of square miles in size, the various peoples who inhabit The Belt have bright and diverse seafaring cultures. While holding no true nations, the populace exists within ever shifting boundaries and near constant ship to ship skirmishes. Sometimes known as The Unchained Archipepago and the Domain of Corsairs, ships and sailors traversing the region must take especial care to avoid losing their cargo, or worse, their lives.

Ganworth – Led by the Dread Prince Pearlie Clayden, known as “The Marooner”, Ganworth is a collection of six port cities spread through many islands. With one of the largest sea fleets in Librarth, the Dread Prince controls an area of The Glistening Expanse that covers from the southern tip of Uzesh to the coast of Secand. The eastern borders of Ganworth is fuzzy, as the mysterious nation of Papakura lies between it and Izkarin.
Izkarin – Founded by political exiles of the Wudan city sates, this group consists of Tieflings and Aasimar raiders. A loose collection of ships, the majority only consolidate in this port city due to cultural similarities. Most of the activities of the Izkarin lie to the north, with raids on Say’urim and Tel Karbahdad in Wudan the common targets.
