Biowhales

Biowhales are a species of genetically modified aquatic planktivores who inhabit the oceans of Libertas. The species were bioengineered by Makeb LRCE upon commission from The Symposium, as a food source and for sport hunting by the Brass families. Despite their name, Biowhales not a species of whale - but instead custom made cephalopods.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Biowhales grow to sizes of up to 20 meters. Their main body is a torpedo shaped mass, with a number of extended feeding tentacles on each end that allow it to quickly change direction when moving, with a feeding beak in the center of each tentacle cluster. They feed upon small introduced plankton and fish species also created for the deep, crushing pressure of Libertas's waters.
