Stone Panthers - Frunctine

Long ago, in a time between times, when the portals were open and Infernus was a hop step and a jump away from Levis, a family of cats came through from the land of stone and demons and emotions.

Settling in the warm places beneath ground, the Frunctine evolved - tapping into the growth magics pulsing through the land, until these rocky predators went from the size of a house cat to the size of a hippo.

Covered in the thick iron juttings of their ancient ancestors, mixed with symbiotic vinular growths and moss patches, these creatures are ambush predators.

Feasting mainly on mammals that stray too close to the cave systems around Levis, many a wandering explorer or Hunter have fallen victim to this adaptive side case.

Mythology and folklore now link the Frunctine to the god of stone and bloodshed  , and while not connected originally, these stone behemoths match the god in mood and sensation.

An interesting concept for a species. Maybe at a later time you have the chance to let us know more details about them. But currently it is a nice little article with the most important information.

What details would you like to know?

For example if they are living in groups or are solitary animals? Can the reproduce like normal cats? Or why do they have three(!) eyelids? Nothing too important, just some interesting details :)
