Deltine - Fire cats

The Deltine are small cats made from flesh and fire, magma poured over bones and organs. Iron protrusions jutt from parts of their body, only to melt back into them in slurries of iron stripes. Their bones are naturally inscribed with the demonic runes of Infernus, keeping them safe both from the heat of the world around them, and the magic that holds them together. The fire cats are no more than the size of a house cat that the reader would be familiar with, still having the multidirectional ears and retractable claws of their descendants. Thin sharp filiment whiskers. Eyes with a third eyelid and capable of seeing in infrared. Deltine are often seen in the domiciles of the demons of Infernus, though they are less domesticated, but more creatures that force themselves into the spaces around the realm. They also run in small packs of 4-5 felines, out in the vast flat craggy areas of Infernus. Their diet is carnivorous, consisting of mainly Squarks and Oppums with the Deltine using their claws as their main capture mechanism, with their hot, sharp teeth being their method of kill. Their bodies sit internally at around 1600C with their skin sitting at a scorching 150C still.
