Fruit Float
Avani, largest port city and number two trade centre of Levis short only to Whencis. So when the night of a thousand kisses came to Avani, the hosts were loud and proud - hosting the entire party higher up the beach of the island. Everyone was still invited to wear masks, but the year Avani hosted was a celebration of both Aranthme, and of an Avani local deity - Medran goddess of chaos, bats and the night.
Since Medran is often depicted as a tree roosting fruit bat local to the Sunken Isles, the fruit float was constructed as a celebration of Medran and a power flex on the trading power of Avani at the time. It's escape into the wild is a testament to how fun the people of Levis want to be, and the rebellious nature of many of their populace.
The process.
The most important step and the thing that stops this being consumable by humans is the bottom layer of shredded and boiled eucalyptus leaves infused in (cinnamon substitute) that sit at the base of the drinking gourd. This is usually enough to take up the bottom third of the gourd. (Though an enterprising human could use rice). Next comes the layer of Jaundistine that is poured and soaked through the boiled leaves. Next comes the dried fruit from Saburra (that might remind the reader of dates or figs), while a fortified Starberry wine is floated atop the entire thing to add sweetness and depth.
While able to be sipped and then the pulp eaten after from the gourd, use of a spoon is often seen as civilised, though honour to Medran is often seen in juice running down a well enjoyed chin.
Variants
While made to be served with a Jaundistine, the people of Brambleberry first came up with a variant based around the Black Eel.
This variant uses the honey as the base layer, then your layer of fruit (dried berries in this case), the layer of the beer, with (Cinnamon substitute and chocolate substitute) grated on the top.
A second variant uses the (bursting grub liquor), a sweet Acretia stem infused simple syrup, and a layer of nuts floated betweeen the layers. Grating more of the nuts are used as a garnish.
Sounds delicious (if you use rice instead of eucalyptus, obviously!!)!

If I could source ginger liqueur I'd try to make a variant myself
