Palathrian Republic
The Palathrian Republic is the name recognised for the Palathrian state by the countries of the Old World. It owes some fealty to the Republic of Tiressea but this is very loose, and the republic is semi-independent.

The Palathrian Republic is ruled by the The Priori of Palathria.
Religion
Abadar is the most popular deity in Palathria, being the god of merchants and cities. He is worshipped at the main cathedral.
Other gods may be worshipped and there is religious freedom - typically these might be the gods of sailors or tradesmen.
Trade & Transport
Palathrian goods are most commonly moved by sea or by riverboat, although some are moved overland along crude roads cut through the jungle.

Fort Cannersly is the westernmost fortification on the Palathrian Coastline. It acts as a gateway into the deeper jungle for explorers, or as a vital point of protection for traders overland or by river from Ardglass and its mines. -
Ardglass Village
The village of Ardglass is named for the rare crystal mined in the mountains to the west. It acts as a trade hub, and is the westernmost settlement proper in the Palathrian Republic.
