Kingdom of Redrille

Redrille is a small peninsula nation on the far western edge of Talan. It originally formed a few hundred years after the fall of the Talanian Empire and has been a staple nation in the region ever since. It originally warred against its neighbors but slowly those neighbors disappeared as the Nations of Larc and Edepar grew. Now the nation exists in the shadow of the two greater powers. Its independence foremost in its mind as its military arms magitek riflemen and dragoons. A new source of technology which is likely the only reason the nation has held its territory during an invasion by Larc in 1187.

Structure

Redrille is organized into three major power groups. The first is the Royal Family under King Garrick Bellrian II The second is the Council of Wreston, a group of magisters and artificers out of the college-city of Wreston. Redrille is dedicated to its own independence and the pursuit of knowledge.

Assets

Redrille is the sole producers of Magitek and as such they are the only ones who wield it on a military level. In addition the Westedge mountains, which mostly lay in Redrille territory are rich with natural ores that Redrille mines for their wealth. Redrille fosters a larger number of Magisters than most nations as well, likely due to methods they developed to detect those with the talent.

History

Redrille was founded when the city-states of Streim, Wreston and Rhillburg, worried about larger nations, unified as a single nation. Streim and Rhillburgs royal families merged and Wrestons council was given a position of authority on par with that newly formed family.
