Aislin Loghaire
Aodhan's wife and therefore Morrighan's adoptive mother. As a low ranking drill officer in Edepar's military, Aodhan became enamored with Aislin's form and her swordplay. He would sneak her snacks and affection between training exercises and they were married with their first child, Conall , very soon in their relationship.
Aislin is strong of will but forgiving, and sees most wrongdoings as a challenge to be overcome that causes people to grow rather than a slight against another. Conveniently for her husband, this means that she was able to forgive him for banging another girl and having a daughter out of wedlock. They were both much younger then, and she does not feel him capable of doing such a thing again.
Her position in the military carried over into parenthood and Aislin has always been far more strict than her husband. She taught Conall and Morrighan much of what they know of combat. Nowadays she carries a somewhat higher rank despite still filling the role of training new recruits, so she looks down on how her children have developed their fighting styles for the sake of spectacle.
