Personal history
In 1188, Morrighan was handed off by her biological mother to her father, Aodhan and adoptive mother, Aislin. She was born to an affair, but was accepted so casually into her family that she only learned of this when she was old enough to ask why she was the only one with fox ears.
Most of her childhood was spent in the company of her father, who taught her on how to interact with commoners and why as nobility she had a duty to look out for those beneath her. On the other hand, her brother was a constant influence in the other direction, and instructed her that she must place herself above the lower classes and bring honor to her noble blood.
Aislin was not absent from Morrighan's life and most of her time at home was spent preparing her children for combat. At her brother's behest and with the aid of her title, Morrighan brought these skills to a minor tournament at the age of 15 and it became her whole life. She could entertain and befriend her people and prove her nobility at the same time, and it was quite fun to boot.
Nowadays Morrighan has made a career in arena combat. She looks to claim the winning title in a national competition and dedicates much of her time to her work. She and her mother do not get along so well anymore, as Aislin sees her children's talents as wasted and constantly says as much to Aodhan.
