While on the job, he will wear whatever clothing will allow him to blend in with those around him, whether that is plain factory worker's clothes or an elaborate aristocrat's suit. On his own time, Rishi prefers simple but well-made attire in the style of the Jirithkaen middle class.

Emmet Rishi is driven by a desire for a secure and comfortable future, and he's willing to risk his life now to get it. After climbing up from the streets of Kamesh to the position as SEIA's best assassin, Emmet Rishi is willing to do just about anything to avoid losing it all again.

Even though he has enough money saved up to live relatively comfortably for the rest of his life, he is constantly driven to accept just one more job so that his future will be just that much more secure.

He prefers to keep his contacts to a minimum, as his work as an undercover assassin depends on his anonymity. Although everyone in SEIA and many outsiders know the name and reputation of Emmet Rishi, only the Chairperson knows how to contact him directly.

Rishi lives with his nekirem and fellow SEIA agent Cecil Anderson, who is the only person he fully trusts and the only one who knows Rishi's actual name.
