The Hrithik Corporation is an immensely successful oil and industrial manufacturing company that supplies diesel fuel across Pelatoria. The company's headquarters are in Jirithkae, and it has a significant presence in the empire's economy.
Hrithik-Kalyan: Founder and Leader
Hrithik-Kalyan is the founder and chief executive of the Hrithik Corporation and potentially the wealthiest individual in the empire. He has gained a widespread reputation as an eccentric man whose aspirational projects border on insanity.
His current project is to build Nautili: the world's first self sufficient city fully enclosed in a glass dome. Construction has only barely begun, but the business magnate is already touring cities across the empire to invite wealthy investors to become the first citizens of Nautili.
Despite his reputation, Hrithik-Kalyan is a deceptively shrewd and ruthless businessman who has built up his company into the largest oil refinery business on the continent.
Public Agenda
The company's main focus is on oil drilling and refining. It supplies oil to railroad companies, factories, and the Jirithkaen military. The Hrithik Corporation has also recently expanded into industrial manufacturing as well. Now that Jirithkae is at war with Freyisdel, the world's leading supplier of steel and manufactured goods, the Hrithik Corporation has suddenly become one of the few major suppliers of industrial technology in the entire empire.
The company's public image has recently taken a hit when one of their top executives Tamanna Bhave was arrested for the assassination of Sovereign Chalita-Rasri of East Jirithkae. The corporation and its founder have claimed no knowledge of Bhave's intentions and have since gone to great lengths to distance themselves from the event and the condemned assassin.
The Hrithik Nautilus
The corporation's symbol is a spiral nautilus shell, and the image is stamped on every manufactured item produced.
Unlike many other animals, nautiluses have no substantial symbolism attached to them in either Othkaen or Jirian culture. According to Hrithik-Kalyen himself, he picked the logo just because he happened to have a personal fondness for the animals.
