The Stone Eye Intelligence Agency is one of the best intelligence organizations in the Jirithkaen empire. They specialize in both spy networks and assassination, but are most infamous for the latter.

SEIA's existence is an open secret among Jirithkaen citizens. It is technically a criminal organization, but government officials have never tried too hard to root them out. The Agency can be a valuable asset to ambitious politicians and nobles hoping to get ahead in the Sanguine Dance that is imperial politics, and many are loath to lose its services.

SEIA is headed by the Chairperson, a mysterious and nameless individual who oversees all operations taken on by the Agency.

Culture

The Agency is a corporate business and expects its Eyes to do their work efficiently and pragmatically. Unlike their rivals the Silken Hand, Stone Eye agents don't use trademark calling cards, tattoos, or blades. Assassins wear whatever uniforms will allow them to blend in with the crowds. Eyes tend to favor pistols, sniper rifles, and poisons as weapons, but they will use whatever best suits the job at hand.

Public Agenda

The Agency's goal is to make money and hold power in the empire. Although they often take on high profile contracts, the Chairperson is very selective about killing important political figures. After all, SEIA needs the empire's political structure to remain functioning if they want to keep a steady group of clients.

Assets

SEIA's headquarters is based in Kamesh's Third District. Only the employed Eyes know its location. Potential clients must covertly contact Agency members at other discrete locations across Jirithkae to have their contracts delivered.

The Agency runs the private Redfern Shipping company out of their headquarters as a front for their operations. Among the letters and packages delivered to the plain corporate building are assassination contracts gathered from wealthy clients.

Merits of Stone

The Stone Eye Intelligence Agency is named after Mitami, the legendary bow-wielding Archdemon of Stone. The Archdemon is said to wait without moving for weeks on end just to get the perfect shot at her target.

Although SEIA does not involve itself with magic or demonic forces, the Archdemon of Stone embodies the patience, subtlety, and skill that the Agency values.
