Humans
Basic Information
Biological Traits
All humans have the same basic humanoid anatomy, but many of their other physical features such hair, skin, and eye color can vary significantly.
Both hair and eye color can be just about any shade. Gray, brown, green, and light orange are the most common eye colors, with blue and white being somewhat rarer. Black, brown, and crimson, and silver are the most common for hair, but other colors like purple, blonde, and gray-blue are not unheard of.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Nearly all humans live in the continent of Pelatoria, a rich and bio-diverse land that is believed to be the birthplace of all human civilization. A much smaller number live in the icy continent of Quentoria just to the northeast. After the distant continent of Anithtoria was discovered, many traveled across the ocean to settle on its western coast.

Average Technological Level
Human societies across the world have recently undergone a technological revolution with the invention of the diesel engine. Diesel fueled trains and ships are the most commonly used form of transportation.
Electricity commonly powers lights and household appliances in large cities, but it is rarely accessible in rural towns.
History
Much of their own history has been lost, but most historians agree that the first humans lived in southern Pelatoria near the Kaishen Desert. After the Ancient Qiri'tali civilization fell, people spread north across the continent and developed new civilizations.
