LoE 2.4: Getting to Know You
So, of course what we thought happened didn’t.
Characters wake up on Curiosity Alpha being tended to by Nora. Apparently there’s been a firefight somewhere. We don’t know the extent of damage, but there was gas involved as well. The Minan elders got out safely; that’s the last solid thing they remember.
The group are able to piece together the following: Lily
see AU at Dometown and Tatum have a thing going on. She’s becoming quite the distraction to him and she is apparently falling for him after a rough start at the initial
Dinner at Dometown University and
Delegation. The entourage was hit in a cave (that looked nothing like the dream) and were eventually gassed by something that may or may not have had psychogenic properties. Initially, JR thought there may have been 4 Minan assassins, but it turns out that they were not Minans but someone likely working in conjunction with them. JR got stabbed in a hand by one of the assassins. The team was overwhelmed by the gas, but not before the Elders and the President get to safety.
After they recover, they put their collective intel together and come to the conclusion that Kevin Hart is behind some of the issues, likely working for someone else and likely responsible for the attack on the entourage. President Andrews had previously suspected he may have been but didn’t want to believe it. He gives the order to take Kevin down. The group apprehends him easily by way of gassing him putting him in cryogenics to be shipped to Minos Base.
Angelus delivers a letter from the Minan Elders inviting the Team and possible others to the Elder’s house. Long story short, Primaries on the list are JR, Nora, and Taylor. Optionals were Tatum, Angelus, Kevin Hart, Elle, and Kestra.
