ComSpace

The real-time common virtual reality space readily available in T1+ environments in Federacy space. Though ComSpaces can be localized (TeamSpace or NearSpace), the principle is the same. All IDCwear links into the nearest accessible and highest authority ComSpace and, depending upon the culture, they may access several ComSpaces simultaneously. ComSpaces have planetary range at TL 1 and inner star systems at TL 2 (typically within a 5 AU radius). At TL 3, entire starsystems are linked regardless of size. All Federacy worlds have at least TL 2 ComSpaces. Communication within ComSpace is instantaneous. All interstellar capable vehicles have their own individual ComSpaces.
Direct communication in a ComSpace requires a PERSONA avialable through all IDCwear.
