Aurin / Bridgehead Nebula

The Aurin or Bridgehead Nebula is also called the "Ear of God." @Xenonavigators and Psions which traverse it have heard incredible and indescribable sounds. Under normal circumstances, it would be avoided, but it is the only navigable point which allows for a T2 or T3 hyperdrive to traverse the Alsakan Rift without having to go around it.
Omerant Lightsinger found a way to navigate the nebula between Omerant and Beach and (legend has it) on board The Lighthouse, the precursor device known as Omerant's Lightsong helps them navigate the way. It is known that no ship following The Lighthouse has ever been lost.
