Dragon's Nest Dojo

Ryū no Su Dōjō, or Dragon's Nest Dojo is nestled in a secluded area on the outskirts of Plum Tree Onsen Village surrounded by dense forest and rugged terrain. Its location provides a serene and private setting ideal for martial training and contemplation.

Architecture:


The dojo is a modest yet elegant structure, constructed primarily from locally sourced wood and stone. Its design reflects the principles of simplicity and functionality, with clean lines and minimal ornamentation.

Exterior:


  Facade: The facade of the dojo features sturdy wooden walls and a gently sloping tiled roof, characteristic of traditional Dragon Clan architecture. The entrance is marked by a simple wooden gate adorned with the clan's mon (crest), symbolizing strength and unity.
Training Grounds: Surrounding the dojo is a spacious training area, covered with packed earth and bordered by carefully tended gardens. Wooden training dummies and practice weapons are scattered throughout the grounds, providing ample space for martial exercises and sparring.

  Training Hall: The main hall of the dojo is a large, open space with tatami-matted floors and high ceilings. Guest Quarters: For visiting Dragon Clan samurai, the dojo provides comfortable guest quarters furnished with tatami mats, futon bedding, and simple yet elegant decor. Each room offers privacy and solitude, allowing guests to rest and reflect after their journey.
