Ulazi Azat

Orcish, born 1285 AK to a prosperous family in Auditore. Apprenticed with the Guild of Glassmakers from the age of twelve to eighteen; admitted as Journeyman 1303 AK, but did not pursue further advancement within the guild. Attended University of Auditore 1303 to 1307 AK, studying the natural sciences; later enrolled at Collegium Transmutione of Lapizula where they were conferred the grade of Adept in 1312 AK (thesis: "A Synthesis of Methods: Ars Alchimia and the Parathi Automatonomicon"). Lectured at Lapizula until 1338 AK, when they was removed from post due to their outspoken criticism of the new Savuran administration. Arrested on suspicion of espionage by the Chamber Extraordinary 1339AK; absconded from custody and was tried and convicted in absentia. Crossed the Savuran lines back to Aldernord with a group of Cameri refugees (which also included Vitality Riccardetti), settling in Valkenholt as a guest of the Guild of Alchemists. Invited to lecture at the Academy of Gildenschloss 1340 AK as a visiting professor; appointed Vice-Scholarch 1342AK. Research interests include alchemical metallurgy and the homunculus process.
