Auditore

Sitting at the southern end of the Pangratic Karst, Auditore is a cosmopolitan trading hub best known for its famous university and for the skill of its artificers. A particular design of crossbow, the auditoriste (sometimes nicknamed the "Clerk's Bow") is almost synonymous with the city's militia, and appears on its crest; the design has been widely copied due to their ease of use and simple maintainance requirements, but genuine auditoristes are prized for their accuracy and craftsmanship, with particularly fine examples fetching prices in the hundreds, or even thousands, of gold marks.

Government

Auditore is goverened by an Autokrator, elected by a simple majority of citizens who own property within the city.

Defences

Auditore is a walled city, and is moderately-well defended. The city has a militia tasked with the defence of the city and the enforcement of the law, and elements of the National Army are likewise garrisoned in the city.
