Tiefling, born to unknown parents in 1304AK and given over to the Hospital of Ekirena as an infant. Enrolled as an apprentice, and graduated to become a neophyte student of transmutation in 1322 AK. Granted the grade of Adept in 1325AK (thesis: “Influences of Boarheart’s ‘Book of Form’ on the Ars Alchimia of Kaiodaminos of Lapis”), and was sponsored by the Priesthood of Hrenisha to attend the Studium of Valkenholt where she studied rhetoric and theology until 1327AK, and then to Lapis where she lectured on alchemical theory until the revolution of 1339AK. Fearing that she might fall foul of the revolutionary purges, she fled Lapis and returned to Gildenschloss; she was appointed Vice-Scholarch of Transmutation in 1340AK, after unmasking her predecessor as a Savuran agent. Her appointment to the Chaplaincy in 1342AK was considered controversial due to her low birth and infernal blood, but was supported by Mistress Diandra despite a number of objections - most notably from Reynaud Veldalen-Sarren, who was widely considered to be almost a certain choice for the role. Her research interests include alchemical transmutation and corporeal polymorphism.
